Dare You To Move

Music Video Made by : Joel H. Keka Jr., David Edger and James Hayze

This was a week to week project. It was done in 2007 and we were trying to capture Las Vegas in this music video. Well, that’s what David wanted to do. All I wanted was to gain experience in my own field and I strive to keep myself at work with digital film and video production even if we had to use a home video camera. I would say that the hardest part of this production was getting a cast and crew together. We already had ourselves, but we would have to meet up every week and transportation was thin. The actress was a friend of ours and was very reliable at the time.

We traveled to the strip every weekend and walk that strip about 8 times. I’d say that most off our money went into the gas for James’s car. We filmed according to our storyboard, but sense it wasn’t a major video, we did some filming away from the storyboard, which resulted in more raw footage to work with. A hard part that accorded was finding places to film and we realized how important planning out shots in the field was. For being one of our more important shots, we gained a lot of knowledge when shooting.

When we finally stocked up on all the raw footage that we needed, we were ready for the editing process. This was one of my jobs. When editing, I found many parts of this video to be very fun to create, but other parts were very hard to create because the like of footage that was needed. On a normal production we would have to go back out to shoot what we needed, but we were unable to because we could only hold on to the camera for so long. I did my best to connect everything together in the video and I do like the outcome of the music video, but I do admit that I could improve on it.

It's What I Want

It's understanding that needs out-weigh wants, but it’s ok to reward yourself. Taking time for yourself is what makes you who you are. So do yourself a favorer and cook. “Wants are the form human needs take as they are shaped by culture and individual personality.” (Armstrong and Kotler: Page 6)

With this cookbook, I wanted to show a different way to cook and see things. I think that everyone wants to see a different side of things and I know that this cookbook you will find that. “Customer relationship management is perhaps the most important concept of modern marketing.”(Armstrong and Kotler: Page 13)
